Excellent Collectible Classic George Nicoll irons 2-8, forged in Scotland w. coated shafts
This is an excellent collectible classic set of George Nicoll hand forged irons, made in Scotland. The set includes 2 iron through to 8 iron. The irons all have the original extended hosels and coated steel shafts, with blue Golf pride Victory grips in good intact condition, although they may not be suitable for play.
The clubs were likely originally made for a lady golfer – the 5 iron measures 36 inches.
The club faces show a pattern of machine “punch marks” which are in excellent condition. This set should have a future life as a display item with possible periodic outing for “retro golf”.
